I have never put much thought into my Facebook ad text and tend to run with the generic - if you love * then like my page. Has this been a mistake? Does your ad text matter? I ran an experiment to find out.
The Premise
This is what i believed before running this experiment.
For the experiment, I ran 6 different identical campaigns - apart from the ad text.
All of the campaigns would have the same budget of £50.
From the intial results you can see that there were differences, but nothing like what we saw when testing different ad creatives.
