Today marks the start of a new case study and a brand new page.

For this case study, I will be creating a whole new page and website in a niche that is 100% new to me.

This will test my model and also test me, how easily will my system work in a new niche? Let's find out.

By the way, this is also the "Build Along" section of my course - here you will be able to see everything I do as I build out this new site and page/pages - nothing hidden!

The page will be in the History niche; this is completely new to me but is something I have an interest in, so I figured, why not?

I bought a domain, got a quick WordPress site set up using Kadence and then created a page.

I spent about 30 seconds picking a logo and colour scheme and then got down to the serious business, creating my content.

Now I needed to come up with some ideas for the content for this site. I decided to try a new approach and start with YouTube.

So off I headed to YouTube, typing in a general history term to see the top videos, Pirates, Romans, Medieval etc etc.

I then looked at the videos that got millions of views and thought about whether they could work on Facebook or not.

If they were a good fit then I jotted down the general premise of the video in a spreadsheet of ideas.

I decided to use Koala Writer for this website to increase the speed of content creation and see whether it would work.

All of my gardening posts are handwritten by me, but I know the niche inside and out and can pump them out quickly. In order for this site to give me a good return I need to get the posts written cheaply, so I decided to give the AI written - Human edited content path a try.

When starting a new Facebook page, you need to start out slowly. If you have too many posts going out per day, you risk getting your content flagged as spam.

I think I posted one article on the first day before upping it to two a day and then three a day by the 4th day.

This is a very quick increase and I would advise sticking at 2 a day for at least a week, but I need to show fast results for this case study so have gone very aggressive on the posting.

I am managing to get page likes at a decent rate 4p a like even though I have a very high budget - £50 a day. I have tweaked the ads a bit to see if I can bring this down further but it is already at a good starting point.

Traffic-wise, I am getting plenty of clicks already, which is very encouraging.

So, a few weeks have gone by now; how is the page doing?

Along with posting again to the main page, I also created a new page in a sub-niche of the main page.

All content that is posted on this new page can also be posted on the main page.

I hope that by narrowing down more, I will get a more engaged audience. This has worked well for me in the past and is something I suggest all of my students do.

The page has started off incredibly well, I am getting likes at a super cheat rate £0.017 per like in some instances!

The audience also seems super engaged, even with just few thousand page likes my posts are getting hundreds of likes.

Time for a March update on the brand new website and now Facebook pages. I am happy to say that the new page is absolotuley thriving. Look at these figures!

The new page earned $1,787 in its first period through the Facebook bonus programme. You can also see it is on to earn even more in its second period. Now, as you can see from the dates, this doesn't directly fall into a month but is instead a 30-day period (I think!).

I am pivoting over to fully focusing on the bonus programme with this case study. That is because it is clearly working very well for this page. My posts go viral with ease but the CTR to my website is poor, making this kind of content much more suited to earning with bonuses.
